Description

The R105 resin is the base material for all of the west system range of epoxies. Using any of the hardener options it can be cured to form a high strength solid with excellent moisture resistance. It is designed to wet and bond to carbon, wood, fiberglass, reinforcing fabrics, metals and a variety of other materials.

Developed specifically for boat building, boat repairs and the marine industry, and internationally marketed for over 40 years, WEST SYSTEM epoxy is a versatile, high-quality, system that is easily modified for a wide range of coating and adhesive applications.

Mix ratio:

  • H205 or H206: 5 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume OR weight.
  • H207 ‘special’ : 3 parts resin to 1 part hardener by volume. OR 3.5 parts resin to 1 part hardener by weight.
