Made from 12k toray T700 fibers, spread tow is best used on flat or flattish shapes. In its wider forms (20mm wide tow, 80gsm) it can be a cost effective solution in comparison to 1k fibers.
It can also provide a very unique weave pattern if your looking for something more than the standard fabric.
